The rapid advancement of genomic research necessitates effective bioinformatics education and training. For over 20 years, Bioconductor has been a key resource in this domain, offering tools and training for genomic data analysis. This presentation will provide an overview of Bioconductor’s education and training initiatives, highlighting their successes and challenges.

Additionally, we aim to identify collaborative opportunities with ELIXIR-UK members and other interested parties. The goal is to strengthen both research and training in life sciences through shared efforts and resources. This session invites participants to explore potential collaborations to enhance the effectiveness of bioinformatics training and research.

Speaker

Dr Maria Doyle is the Bioconductor Community Manager who leads global outreach and engagement with the Bioconductor open source software community.
