Open Life Science joins ELIXIR-UK

12 April 2023

We are really excited to announce that Open Life Science (OLS) is the newest member of ELIXIR-UK, bringing us to 24 members!

Check out our other members here.

This mentoring and training programme for those interested in becoming Open Science ambassadors is a fantastic way for individuals to take open science principles they have learnt forward into their own work, and out into their communities.

Yo Yehudi, Executive Director and Co-Founder of OLS will be joining the ELIXIR-UK Steering Committee as the OLS representative. They are currently also studying for an EngD degree at the University of Manchester with a focus on human aspects of software from a life science perspective.

As a member, OLS will be part of discussions around ELIXIR-UK resources and have influence in this international community.

If you belong to the OLS Community and would like to learn more about how you can get involved in ELIXIR now that you are also a member, you can sign up to our mailing list, see which focus groups and communities you can get involved in, or contact us directly for more information.

If you belong to an organisation which is not a member of ELIXIR-UK but you would like to be more involved in ELIXIR, you can find out more about the application process, sign up for our newsletter to see how you could benefit, or get in touch with us with any questions.
