Co-creating a proposal for an ELIXIR Staff Exchange
ELIXIR Europe is due to reopen its staff exchanges to support skills development, collaboration and knowledge transfer across Nodes. This Training Club session will bring the UK community together to shape a proposal that reflects our training needs and areas of expertise.
We will work through the following:
- Identify gaps and priorities in UK training capability
- Shortlist the top three topics that would benefit most from a staff exchange
- Discuss where incoming expertise from other Nodes would be valuable, and what expertise the UK could offer in return
- Discuss which communities/platforms/focus groups would align with our proposal
- Draft the outline of a UK proposal to submit to ELIXIR Europe
Why this matters
Attending this session gives you the chance to directly influence the support the UK could receive. A successful proposal may create opportunities for travel, knowledge exchange and targeted skill development that address real needs identified by our community.
