What will you learn?

This workshop will introduce FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) data management, research data lifecycle and the importance of creating a data management plan for peatland research and monitoring. Creating data management at the start of a project or monitoring planning facilitates data management and reuse.
Join a hands-on session to develop a data management plan for peatland monitoring and research.

Researchers, students, practitioners, data managers, and data stewards interested in data management best practices for peatland conservation and management.

Course prerequisites

Participants are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the Galaxy platform and the available training materials.
