FAIR-in-action Bridge: How to approach FAIRification (Contentathon #2)
On 28 May, we’re rolling up our sleeves to draft the first FAIR-in-action playbook: How to approach FAIRification.
This is the practical core of the RDM Club’s BioFAIR pathfinder project – turning guidance from RDMkit, the FAIR Cookbook, FAIRsharing, WorkflowHub and Galaxy into ready-to-deliver workshop activities, templates, slide decks and facilitator scripts that RDM professionals can take to their own institutions.

The day is structured into focused sections (full schedule shared soon) so contributors can drop into the parts that match their interests and expertise – for example, FAIRification of specific data types (e.g., imaging, NGS), template design, facilitator scripts, or activity instructions.
You don’t need to commit to the whole day.
What you’ll do
- Draft activities, templates and scripts in small breakout groups with acknowledgement of contributions in an open repository.
- Map content to existing FAIR resources
- Test ideas against your own institutional context
- Help shape Playbook v1, which will then be tested across six UK RPOs
