Become a BioFAIR Fellow: applications open for 2026/27 cohort

BioFAIR has opened its second call for Fellows, this year focused on FAIR data management. The 12-month, part-time (0.2 FTE) fellowship funds ambassadorial work in data stewardship, metadata management, standards adoption, ontologies, data curation and AI-readiness – with up to ten Fellows selected from across the UK.

Fellows join the BioFAIR People Commons, working alongside the Hub team and BioFAIR-funded projects to promote FAIR practice and support researchers with data management challenges.

  • Introductory webinar: 14 July, 11:00–12:00 BST (register)
  • Q&A session: 28 July, 12:00–13:00 BST (register)
  • Application deadline: 7 August 2026, 16:00 BST
  • Selection and Development Day: 16 September, Glasgow (travel support provided)
