Elevenses and Data Love Stories is the RDM Club’s annual conversation about what data stewardship looks like in practice – the routes into the role, the realities of the work that we enjoy, and the resources people actually use and love.

In this session, data stewards from different ELIXIR Nodes will share short reflections on how they came to data stewardship, what their roles entail today, and which tools, services, or communities support their work. The emphasis is on experience rather than theory, and on comparison across diverse institutional contexts – this year, with a special international outlook.

The discussion will touch on:

  • Pathways into data stewardship and RDM-related roles
  • Differences and similarities in practice across countries and institutions
  • Resources, services and approaches that speakers rely on in their day-to-day work

The format is informal and discussion-led, with space for questions and contributions from participants.

Speakers

  • Mijke Jetten, ELIXIR Netherlands
  • Flora D’Anna, ELIXIR Belgium
  • Korbinian Bösl, ELIXIR Norway
