ELIXIR-UK All Hands 2024
We are excited to welcome you to the ELIXIR-UK 2024 Annual All Hands Meeting, bringing together representatives from our 28 member institutions. This year’s meeting highlights the successes of our community and how ELIXIR-UK has empowered its members to drive innovation across key areas like workflows, data stewardship, upskilling and the establishment of BioFAIR.
Why attend?
At our All Hands, we celebrate how our community has thrived thanks to the collaborative environment ELIXIR-UK fosters. This year’s meeting will focus on:
- Showcasing success stories: Hear how community members have leveraged ELIXIR-UK’s resources and networks to achieve breakthrough results in workflows, data stewardship, and more. Or present your success stories with our poster presentations and lightning talks.
- Learning from last year’s community discussions: Discover how the community’s feedback from last year has been heard and put into practice, and continue to have a say in how we work and what we offer.
- Networking and collaboration: Connect with key players in life science data infrastructure within the UK and the wider ELIXIR Europe and explore opportunities for new projects and partnerships. Discover how we can collaborate with other digital research infrastructures and sister networks.
What’s new in 2024?
This year, we are amplifying the voices of every participant. Whether you’re a newcomer to ELIXIR-UK or a long-time contributor, this is your chance to contribute to strategy development by participating in discussions shaping ELIXIR-UK’s future direction, ensuring that our strategy aligns with the diverse needs of our community.
Learn from success stories, and gain insights from projects that have been transformative, such as BioFAIR, the ELIXIR-UK-conceived UK commons, and other initiatives that have led to investments in Digital Research Infrastructure, community engagement and research community upskilling.
Who should attend?
The ELIXIR-UK All Hands Meeting is open to anyone from a member institution or those interested in joining our community. Whether you are a researcher, developer, data steward, or administrator, this event offers something for everyone. Expect to benefit from our network’s extensive networking, knowledge exchange and collaboration opportunities.
In 2024, we will continue to ensure that every voice is heard. Our theme of inclusivity reflects the importance of our members’ diverse skills, perspectives, and knowledge. Whether you’ve recently joined the ELIXIR-UK community or have been deeply involved for years, this event meets your needs and enhances your experience within the network.
