This report summarises the discussions from the AI panel and World Café sessions at the ELIXIR-UK All Hands 2025 meeting. The conversations capture community perspectives on the opportunities, risks and needs surrounding AI in research, offering background material to inform upcoming ELIXIR-UK strategy work.

Earlier this month, ELIXIR-UK contributors took part in BioHackathon Europe 2025, leading and supporting projects that advanced FAIR data, benchmarking, interoperability and sustainable workflow development across the ELIXIR ecosystem.
