BioinfoCoreLeaders Club, a national community for people leading bioinformatics and computational biology core facilities, was formally established at the University of Warwick on 10-11 September 2026. It is now an ELIXIR-UK-endorsed community, with four priority areas in development.

EnteroBase, selected as ELIXIR-UK serive, a free, publicly accessible web platform for bacterial pathogen genomics, providing more than 1.8 million uniformly assembled and annotated genomes.

The University of Warwick has joined ELIXIR-UK, strengthening national bioinformatics and digital health support. Warwick contributes extensive training expertise, a growing Bioinformatics Clinic model, and international resources.
