5 members of the ELIXIR-UK community have been selected for the inaugural national Fellowship supporting FAIR data and workflow practices across the UK. Their involvement reflects ELIXIR-UK’s growing role in strengthening reproducibility, interoperability and capability within UK life sciences.

Earlier this month, ELIXIR-UK contributors took part in BioHackathon Europe 2025, leading and supporting projects that advanced FAIR data, benchmarking, interoperability and sustainable workflow development across the ELIXIR ecosystem.

ELIXIR-UK was highly visible at ISMB/ECCB 2025, with over 25 talks and posters, a UK booth trail, and co-leadership of the "Bioinformatics in the UK" track.
